Flipped Education Project in China
We believe that education is an essential part of our life. However, we recognized that not everyone has access to the same education resource as others. Therefore, we are trying our very best to reduce this education inequality:
Inspired by our childhood memory of visiting our father’s hometown, a small town in Southern China, our first step began at WangJinCun elementary school. We reached out to one of our collaborators Kevin XiaoDan Wang in China. With Wang’s help, we successfully contacted the principal and teachers at WangJinCun elementary school. After discussing with the teachers, we selected and purchased books, sent them to school, and had the school distribute them to students who were unable to afford them. This allowed the students to have equal access to resources, giving them equal learning opportunities at school.
