Flipped Education Project in China
We believe that education is an essential part of our lives; however, we also recognize that not everyone has equal access to education resources as others. Therefore, we strive to reduce this education inequality:
Inspired by our childhood memory of visiting our father’s hometown, a small town in Southern China, our first step began at WangJinCun elementary school. We reached out to one of our collaborators Kevin XiaoDan Wang, who resides in China. With Wang’s help, we successfully contacted the principal and teachers at WangJinCun elementary school. After discussing with the school’s faculty, we carefully selected and purchased books that would be the most suitable and beneficial to these children. The books were then distributed to the students at WangJinCun elementary school, kickstarting our first step towards promoting equal education.
